Daniel Kidney, one of the oldest settlers in the Wyoming Valley, aged 78 years and 6 months, died at his home, 30 Oregon Street, yesterday. The deceased leaves a wife, five daughters and two sons. The cause of death was old age. The deceased was born Nazareth, Northampton County and came to this city over a half century ago. He was well known to the older residents.
