SMITHVILLE, Tenn. --- Services for Chub Ervin, 83, a retired farmer of Smithville, will be at 2 PM today at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. burial will be in Wharton Springs Cemetery. Ervin died Thursday, in DeKalb General Hospital. Survivors include four sons, Beecher and Junior, of Smithville, Charles, Chattanooga, and L. C. Ervin, Watertown; five daughters, Mrs. Phaline Stanley, Mrs. Gladys Wilkins, Mrs. Wanda Bennett, Mrs. Ruth Wright and Miss Odel Ervin, Smithville; a brother, Tom Ervin, Smithville; a sister, Mrs. Daisy Spencer, Smithville; 26 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
