Gladys Wilkins (Died May 30, 2005)

84 year old Gladys R. Wilkins of Smithville died Monday at DeKalb Hospital. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home and burial will be in the Whorton Springs Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chub and Lodie Neal Ervin; her husband, Bill Wilkers; four sisters, Ophian Stanley, Odell Ervin, Ruth Stanley, and Wanda Bennett; and three brothers, Elsie Ervin, Charles Athel Ervin, and Junior Ervin. She is survived by a daughter, Gayl Jordon of Woodbury. A grandson, Gary and his wife Renee Mooneyham of Murfreesboro. One granddaughter, Misty Dodd of Woodbury. Two great grandchildren, Michael and Jessica Mooneyham of Murfreesboro. Special person, Timmy Ervin and care taker, Zettie Ervin both of Lafayette, Georgia. One special niece, Amanda Ervin of Smithville. One sister-in-law, Joyce Ervin of Rossville, Georgia. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from noon until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m.
