Anne Rose Fatout(1926 - 2017)
Fatout, Anne Rose (Vondrasek)
91, of New River AZ passed away on 4/4/2017, at home, with her family by her bedside, after suffering through a short but acute illness. She was born in Buckley, Michigan on February 23, 1926 to Frank and Anna Vondrasek, immigrants from what is now the Czech Republic. Anne was valedictorian at her high school. On August 21, 1943, at 17, she married the love of her life, Eucher Elie "Ed" Fatout in Buckley, Michigan, a marriage which lasted 71 glorious years. Anne and Ed moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1954, where they started their own plumbing business and Ed also worked at Airesearch Manufacturing Company (later Garrett), retiring in 1976. Anne and Ed were the first to build a cabin in Crown King Acres, AZ in 1957, where they spent many weekends and summers enjoying the cooler mountain air. For 17 years, they spent winters in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, where they enjoyed an active social life. In 1996, they moved to New River, AZ, closer to their beloved Crown King. She was loved and cherished as a wife, revered as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed for her gentleness, compassion, and wisdom. She was passionate about food and was an adventurous eater and accomplished cook. She loved to travel and sought out new experiences with enthusiasm and an open heart. Anne and Ed were members of New River Bible Chapel. She is survived by her daughters Sheri Lee Fatout and Suzi Ann Fatout, her son Kip Eucher Fatout, her sister Helen (Vondrasek) Crandall, and her grandchildren Michael J Caldwell, David S Madole, Robert D Howser, Kalea L Daub, Christopher E Fatout, Nova S Reiser, Jeatt A Berg, and Trevor E Walker.
