OGLESBY, Bruce G. - Age 83, died Friday, December 8, 2000 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11AM Tuesday, December 12, 2000 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Drive James Grotts officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.

Mr. Oglesby was born in Noland, Arkansas on November 11, 1917, the son of Isaac and Frankie Oglesby and was a resident of the Flint area since 1953.
He married Ava Hames on July 27, 1940 in Noland, Arkansas.
He was a member of Bristol Road Church of Christ and UAW Local #651. Mr. Oglesby retired from General Motors in 1980.
Surviving are loving wife of 60 years, Ava "Rhudyne"; children, Jane and husband Bill Wasson of North Carolina, Lynn and wife Penny Oglesby of Farmington, Michigan, Larry and wife Linda Oglesby of Phoenix, Arizona; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.
