A Rosary was recited on 10 April 2017 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Public visitation and wake on 11 April 2017 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial Mass was on 12 April 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers: Joe E. Jr., Everett, Daniel, Julian, Adam, Joshua, Jared, Martin, Jeremiah, Joseph, and Caleb.
