Mr. Gordon A. Switzer, 70, of Gulfport, MS, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, in Gulfport.
Mr. Switzer was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and retired from Ingall's Shipbuilding as a sheet metal supervisor. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Switzer was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Artie Switzer; two sisters, Isabelle Skinner and Ruby Dobson, and three brothers, Julien Switzer, Harold Switzer and Dick Switzer.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Switzer, of Gulfport; one daughter, Joy Switzer, of Ocean Springs; one son, Grover Switzer and his wife, Tina, of Ocean Springs; three sisters, Lou Walker of D'Iberville, Ruth Beard of Gulfport, and Elsie Freeman of St. Martin, and two grandchildren, Leslie Switzer and Chaise Switzer of Ocean Springs.
