ALICE LIMBER, age 84, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her husband, ANDREW, of sixty-two years; children: STEVE and PATRICIA LIMBER, SCOTT and CAROL LIMBER, TERRY LIMBER, KELLY and TIM BOELEMA, SUSAN and BEN ROTTSCHAFER; grandchildren: KATIE and MATT SPOHR, HEATHER and COREY POSTMA, MELISSA and JOHN EHLKE, NICK LIMBER, ANDREA and JUSTIN ADAMS, SAM ROTTSCHAFER, LAURA BOELEMA, NIKO ROTTSCHAFER; great grandchildren: AUTUMN LAKOUS and MOLLY EHLKE. Alice is also survived by her sister, VIRGINIA CRONK, and several nieces and nephews.
Alice had a joy for life and loved to listen to music, play cards, volleyball, laugh, and have fun with family and friends. She had a deep faith in God, a great sense of humor, and is now enjoying her martini time in heaven. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 11 AM, at Immaculate Heart of Mary (1951 Plymouth Ave. SE). Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, April 11, from 6-8 PM at Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE) as well as on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service, at the church, from 10-11 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
