The members of this class are pictured and included, from left: Front-Atty. Arthur Sneed (1876-1957), a deacon and the teacher, he was born in Hamilton County, Ill., the son of John B. and Della James Jane] Wright Sneed. He married Iva Knight in 1902 and they moved to Piggott in March of 1911.
Arthur entered Judge Hunter's law office and studied law, and started his practice in 1912 and continued for 45 years. He served as mayor of Piggott and in other capacities. He was on the committee to put into operation the Light and Water Plant. He joined the First Baptist Church by letter in January of 1913. The Sneed children were Aaron, Lyman, Arthur, Jr., Marshall, Helen, Ruth and Mildred.
