Nancy Peterson, 83, of Puyallup passed away on March 16. Born in Livingston Mt. to Oscar and Mary Anderson, she graduated from Stadium High in 1949. She met and married her husband of 65 years, Glenn Charles Peterson in Tacoma. When she wasn't working as a secretary she enjoyed walking, golfing, exercising, spending winters in Arizona, and especially spending time with family, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. An accomplished singer, she was known for her lovely voice. She is survived by her Husband, Glenn; daughter Debbie (Glen) Zevenbergen; grandchildren, Scott, Rich, Brad, Matt, Krystle, Bobby and Curtis; 8 great grandchildren; and her special friends of 52 years, Bob and Judy Reid. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sons, Glenn Howard Peterson (Linda) and Gary Steven Peterson. There will be a Celebration of Her Life on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
