Siblings included Ernest Clifton (1904-1946); Herman Warren (1906-?); Lillie Mae (Young) Nelson (1908-1969); Frank (1910-?); Jeffie Irene (Young) McQueen (1914-1991); Woodrow Ferguson "Mutt" (1916-1975); Mary Lee (Young) Hawkins (1919-2004); then Ollie; Rufus Kendrick "Kim" (1922-1993); Edith Winefred (Young) Young (1915-2005). On Sept. 30, 1940, she married Julius Woodrow "Sonny" Kolar. Together they raised three sons.
