OBIT--Temple Daily Telegram April 8,
1969. ROGERS-Lillie Mae Nelson, 60, of
Rogers died late Monday in a Temple
hospital after a short illness.

Funeral will be at 10 am Wednesday at
the Gommert Funeral Home Chapel, the
Rev Joe Cooper officiating. Burial
will be in the Rogers Cemetery.

Mrs Nelson was born Sept 16, 1908, She
was the former Miss Lillie Young of
Buckholts and was married to Herb
Nelson Sept 12, 1925. She was employed
at the Veterans Administration Center
Hospital in Temple.

Surviving are her husband, Herb Nelson;
her mother, Mrs Ida Lee Young; a daughter
Mrs Tony Wooley; a son, John Nelson; two
brothers, Woodrow Young, Rufus Young;
four sisters, Mary Hawkins, Ollie Kolar,
Edith Young, Jeffie McQueen; seven grand-
children; and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be DC Ward, JC Lowery,
Floyd Bennefield, Lloyd Warwick, Kenneth
Sturdevant and Hulan Farrell.
