VICTORIA - Leon Martinez Jr., age 91 of Victoria passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017. He was born March 22, 1926 in Victoria to the late Leon Martinez Sr., and Ramona Mata Martinez.
Leon Martinez proudly served in the United States Navy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Dianna Martinez, grandson; Shawn Ray Martinez Sr., brothers; Abel Martinez, Jonnie Martinez, and Thomas Martinez.
Visitation will begin Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00pm at Artero Memorial Chapels in Victoria. Visitation to resume at 9:00am on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Jerusalem Family Praise Center of Victoria with a Funeral Services to be celebrated at 10:00am. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with full Military Services under the Auspice of Victoria County Veterans Council AL,CWV,VFW,DAV, MCL, MOWW, EX-POW,MOPH,WS,KWV.
