Frances Sims (sometimes spelled Simms) was the daughter of Nathaniel and Janetta (Stevens) Sims. On June 13, 1844 she married John Ellis Polson in Randolph County, Missouri. They were the parents of twelve children, the last child George died around his birth. It is supposed that Frankie also died at the same time.
The children of John and Frances were: Mariah Elizabeth Polson, born February 1846; Thomas M. Polson born January 15, 1847; Gennette A. Polson born June 5, 1848; Sarah A. Polson born September 27, 1849; John Franklin Polson born May 8, 1851; Benjamin L. Polson born July 4, 1852; Susan Polson February 22, 1854; Nathaniel Columbia Polson born October 13, 1856; William Alexander Polson born August 27, 1857; James Louis Polson December 29, 1858; Rosie Bell Polson May 26, 1861; and George Polson born and died May 1863.
So far we have not found proof that she is buried here, but the rest of her family who died around the same period are all buried here. I didn't want my great-great-grandmother forgotten, so I am placing her in the cemetery where I'm sure her remains lie.
