Dorothy May Lee, 88, Freeman, Missouri, died August 2, 2016 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Dorothy was a 1946 graduate of Central High School in Kansas City. She married Willis Lester Lee on February 3, 1949 in Kansas City. They moved to Freeman,Mo. in 1969.
Dorothy had worked as a bookkeeper for Kraft Foods in Kansas City for two years and for Lee Concrete for four years. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville and the Alter Society. She was a member of Freeman Community Club and served as president of Cass Midway PTA.
Dorthy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willis, two brothers Joseph Allin and John Allin, two sisters, Ann Hart and Margaret Jakobe and an infant granddaughter, Abby Lyon. She is survived by four children Gary Lee(Robin), Shauna Lyon(Mike), Greg Lee(Karen) and Dan Lee(Brenda); two brothers George Allin(Mary) and Jim Allin; two sisters Catherine Wessing and Jean Davidson(Fred); 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
