Donald Ledru Arp, age 86, of Indian Grove, died Sunday, April 2, 2017.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, at Zion United Methodist Church in Indian Grove, where visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5. Burial will follow Thursday’s service at Elliott Grove Cemetery in Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Elliott Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Peggy Arp, of Indian Grove; Larry Arp, of Madison; Steven and Betty Arp, of Brookfield; Brent Arp, of Champaign, IL; grandchildren, Michael (Lori) Arp and their children, Logan, Jacob and Grady; Julia Arp and her son, Isaac; Jessica (Brad) Green and their daughter, Hadley; Travis (Sara) Arp; Seth Arp and Blaine Arp. He is also survived by his sister, Jeannine Stutsman, of Gulf Shores, AL; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Henry and Lily Avis Hiatt Arp; and his brother, Eugene Mason.
