Dennis Ray Gwin, 67, of Midland, died Friday, March 31, 2017, in Midland. He was born November 10, 1949 in Portales, NM to Cecil and Hildreth Gwin. He attended Hobbs High School in Hobbs, NM. After graduation Dennis joined the US Navy where he served for six years. He graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 1976. He moved to Midland, TX and spent several years working as a CPA for various oil companies. After 17 years working for Slough Equipment in Odessa, TX he retired at the age of 65.

A memorial service will be held at Lewallen Garcia Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel at 10am, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 with Pastor Danny Bisbee presiding. Interment with military honors will be at 3pm at the Prairie Haven Cemetery in Hobbs, NM.
