Leota M Ace, age 83, of Oregon, passed away Sunday June 30, 2002. She was born September 17, 1918 in Dayton, Wisconsin to Harry and Lavina (Noggles) Best. Leota married John Ace on February 28, 1936 in Oregon. She worked at E.Z. Gregory, Inc. for 27 ½ years, before retiring December 31, 1993. Leota is survived by four children, Romaine (Sandy) of Brooklyn, Orpha (Allen) Credeur of San Diego, Gary (Mary) of Mcfarland, La Von, Sarasota, Florida; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Arvin (Margaret) Best and Alvin Best; a sister Ila Keehne. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; son, Gordon; daughter Sharon; her parents; and brother, Ivan. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Peoples United Methodist Church, Oregon. Burial will be held at Prairie Mound Cemetery, Oregon
