Born March 12, 1910, in Bloomington, Ind., to John O. and Jennie S. Hough Krohn, he married Opal Hill on Oct. 29, 1970, in Carthage. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, John of Sioux City, Iowa, Dennis of Pekin and Eric of Greensboro, N.C.; one daughter, Deborah Krohn of Aspen, Colo.; one stepdaughter, Joyce Antonini of Pekin; two brothers, James of Delavan and Robert of Peoria.
He served with the National Guard.
He worked out of Iron Workers Local 112 in East Peoria for 25 years. He formerly owned and operated Krohn Shell Service Station.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
