Mrs. Adella Beckstrom, 70, a local music teacher, died at a Caribou hospital Monday following a long illness.
She was born at Connors, N.B. Nov 19, 1895, the daughter of Olof and Ella (Beckline) Stadig.
Mrs Beckstrom lived 25 years at St. Francis, and the past 12 years at New Sweden. She was a member of the New Sweden Baptist Church and of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter of Caribou.
She is survived by her husband, John L. Beckstrom of New Sweden; two daughters, Mrs. Pamela Young of Rangeley and Mrs. Carola Nickerson of Hermon; and one brother, Alphonse Stadig of Lisbon, Conn.
