VERNON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY OBITUARY ARTICLE: M. H. "Hap" Appleman (Handwritten date of 1975)
M. H. "Hap" Appleman, 74, 6761 Stanton Avenue, Buena Park, California, died at the Anaheim Community Convalescent Hospital, Anaheim, California, Sunday, April 27.
Mr. Appleman, former Cashton resident, has been in California for the past 53 years and resided in Buena Park all that time. He owned and operated "Hap" Appleman Auto Garage in Buena Park for many years and also in Fullerton for many years.
He was born in Clinton, Wisconsin, March 5, 1901.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 29, at the Newport Harbor Lutheran Church, Costa Mesa, Calif., and graveside services were held at the Loma Vista Memorial Park, Fullerton, Calif., with Rev. Roger Berg officiating. Burial was in the Loma Vista Memorial Park Cemetery, Fullerton, Calif.
Survivors are two sons; Buford M. of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Arnold B. of Costa Mesa, Calif.; four grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Werts and Mrs. Bertha Weimer both of Madison, Wis.
