Arnold Byron Appleman of Anaheim, CA passed away on July 18, 2015. "Arnie" was born in Fullerton, CA on January 22, 1940. He attended Cal State LA. Arnie was a member of the Costa Mesa Police Department - an Investigator with the Orange County District Attorney's Office, and spent 20 years as a Private Investigator specializing in real estate and financial fraud. He served in the U.S. Army as an Instructor at the Army Engineer School in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.He was a member and officer of the Fullerton Elks Lodge and the Southern California Fraud Investigators Association. He loved woodworking and spent many hours creating gifts for his family. He enjoyed travel, loved his family, God and the United States of America.Arnie is survived by his wife, Pam of 34 years; and four daughters and their families: Nicole and John Elders and daughters, Carlee and Gracie; Carrie and Craig Fitzgerald and son, Mac; Deirdre and Steven Zeroski; Jenny Mitchell and daughters, Emory and Maisy Mitchell.Honoring Arnie's wishes, he will be cremated and his ashes will be scattered at sea. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Fullerton Elks Lodge. If you would like to attend please call the Lodge.
