Mr. Stark was a native of Windom, Minn. He lived in Modesto 53 years. He was a machinist and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his children, James Stark of Sacramento and Ruby Coey of Modesto; brother, Vernon Stark of Citrus Heights; and 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Acacia Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the chapel.
Remembrances may be made to the Church of the Nazarene choir fund, 2319 St. Paul's Way, Modesto 95355.
