Natalie retired from W.W. Grainger after 27 years of service. Natalie began her career at Grainger as a receptionist and worked hard during her career and was eventually promoted to that of manager. After retirement, Natalie and Billy relocated to the beautiful state of Arkansas and lived there for approximately 7 years before returning to Indiana in order to be close to her family.
Survivors include her husband, Billy, whom she married July 6, 1985; daughter & son-in-law, Deborah (Tim) of Nashville; sons & daughters-in-law, Mike (Rose) of Indianapolis, & Thomas (Anita) of Payson, AZ; 1 granddaughter; 3 great-grandchildren; Step-children; 9 step-grandchildren; special nephew.
Natalie was a graduate of Washington High School in Indianapolis. Natalie was a member of the Prairie Grove Christian Church in Farmington, AK and Hazelwood Christian Church in Clayton, IN. She was very involved in her church activities including serving Meals on Wheels while residing in Arkansas. Natalie and her best friend, Ree (certified therapy dog), visited the VA Retirement Home located near her home in Arkansas. Natalie & Ree made many friends along their travels. She was also a collector of antiques and had antique booths in both Arizona and Arkansas. Natalie was also a member of the OES Lodge#517, in Cartersburg, Natalie was a loving, vibrant woman who lived her faith in her daily life. She will be missed by her family and her many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Arrangements are entrusted to, Cox Funeral Home ; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. As per her wishes, Natalie chose to be cremated. A memorial celebration of her life will be held from 6-9 P.M. Monday. December 29, 2014, at the Hazelwood Christian Church, 9947 S. County Rd. O, Clayton, IN 46118. There will be a celebration of life at the Prairie Grove Christian Church in Farmington, AK to be announced at a later date.
