Mrs. Wentling of Knox, Pennsylvania Dies
Mrs. Olive Hazel Wentling, 75, of Knox, PA died in the Franklin Hospital after an extended illness. She was born February 19, 1889 in Hartford City, Indiana, the daughter of Oliver Fye and Sarah O'Hara Fye.
She was married September 5, 1907 to Rubin L. Wentling, who died December 27, 1940.
Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Merle Over (Phyllis) of Knox, PA; Mrs. Elmer Over (Elizabeth) of Knox, PA; and Mrs. Wyllis Fitzgerald (Alvena) of Franklin, PA; and six grandchildren: Mrs. Fye Moon of Van, PA; Mrs. Elaine Henry of Franklin, PA; Gary Over of Sidney, NY; Mrs. Shirley Morris of Knox, PA; Dean Fitzgerald of Franklin, PA and Joyce Over of Knox, PA. There are also four great-grandchildren [not named].
One brother Albert (Bob) Fye of Knox, PA also survives.
Two sons preceded her in death: Phillip and Ronald L. Wentling.
Mrs. Wentling was a member of Saint Paul United Church of Christ of Knox, PA.
Removal was made to the William N. Rupert Funeral Home of Knox, PA where friends may call after 7p.m. today.
Funeral services will be conducted from the home at 2p.m. Wednesday, the 30th of September, by Reverend William Boyer of Saint Paul United Church of Christ. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
