He was born July 26, 1924 in Peoria, Illinois to Thomas McKinley Haddock and Lillian Stewart Haddock.
He was a veteran serving with the United States Army for 33 months during World War II. After his discharge he married Mary E. Crowe August 6, 1949 and they moved to Louisiana in 1963 to make their home.
He is survived by three sons; Douglas Haddock and Paula Smashey of Lake St. Louis, M0., Mark Haddock and wife, Sally of Hillsboro, M0. and Mike Haddock and wife, Kim of Louisiana, Missouri, one daughter, Carol Hansbrough and husband, Tom of Gower, M0., Seven grandsons; Chris Haddock, Heath Haddock, Brent Haddock, Jeff Haddock, Hayden Haddock, Mason Haddock and Landon Haddock, Four granddaughters; Beth Bartell, Michelle Peterein, Cassidy Lowry and Bradie Ramirez and nine great-grandchildren; Jenna Haddock, Cailyn Haddock, Sydney Haddock, Abbie Bartell, Conner Bartell, Josie Lowry, McKinlee Lowry, Calvin Scott and Savanna Ramirez.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Haddock who passed away May 5, 2011, his parents and one brother, Floyd Haddock.
He had been employed at Louisiana Plastics Company until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Louisiana and a member of Elks Lodge 791 in Louisiana. Ken enjoyed reading and watching TV.
