My precious mom, Pat DeWitt went to be with Jesus, my Dad, my sister Tina and her beloved lab Mina on August 27, 2012 after a courageous battle with failing health.
She was the 11th child of Mary and Frank Mullenix. Pat was born in Sioux Falls on May 21, 1931.
She married Robert DeWitt, the love of her life. They had two daughters Leilani and Tina.
So many people enjoyed her company. She was so loving and tenderhearted. She enjoyed visits from family and friends.
She really enjoyed knitting socks and slippers for family Christmas gifts, going to Goodwill to shop “Goodwilling”, books by Patterson and the Clarks and Betty Boop. Her favorite character since she was a child.
What she loved the most was knowing Jesus as her Savior and being a wife and mother.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home (507 S. Main). Visitation will be from 6:30-7:30pm on Friday, also at Millers.
