Pamela Rogers Baxter, aged 66, of Stuart, FL, died peacefully on March 19, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. She was born August 27, 1950 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, the daughter of the late Stewart C. and Patricia Rogers.
Pam graduated from Wolfson High School and Wesleyan College. She was an active volunteer at Redeemer Lutheran Church and School from 1981-1993. She was past President Of Dutch Island's Garden Club, was a member of Huntington Women's Guild in Savannah, Georgia. She was a devout member of Isle of Hope Methodist Church from 1994-2011 and St. Mary's Episcopal Church from 2012-2017.
Pam spent the best years of her life raising her 3 children. She was there for every sporting event, recital, class party, award ceremony, etc. She enjoyed hosting parties, playing canasta with her friends, travelling to both the beach and the mountains, cruising, and decorating. Her home and garden were always a picture perfect example from Southern Living. She could turn any piece of junk intro treasure.
Pam was a Christian who had such a strong faith in the Lord our God. She touched the heart and soul of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her smile was contagious.
Pam is survived by her husband, Lewis Baxter, her children, Dan Parks and Carolynn Strom. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren, and numerous loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Parks Tipton, and sister, Debbie Stoutenberg.
