assed away Friday at the Golden Living Center, Lansdale.

Son of Henry and Sallie Buchanaur Alderfer.
Married Mary M. Koder April 1965. She survives.
Also surviving are daughter Beverly L. (Bud) Hamel; sons William D. (Paulette), Ken R. (Alicia) and Henry R. (Michelle) Alderfer; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister Gertrude (Harold) Benner; brothers LeRoy Alderfer, Ralph (Helga) Alderfer and Carl (Judith) Alderfer.
He was preceded in death by brother Elmer.

U.S. Army veteran of WWII, serving from 1942 to 1945 in Army Intelligence.

Retired from American Electronics Laboratories in Colmar in 1986 after 24 years. Owned and operated Alderfer's Treasures in Lahaska, for nearly 20 years.

Member of the Hatfield Lions.

He enjoyed painting, working with model trains and fishing.

Funeral services 2:30pm Wednesday Feb. 22 at Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford.
Visitation one hour prior to the service.

Memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
Age 90.
