SALLIE M ALDERFER

Funeral services will be held Thursday for Sallie M Alderfer, wife of Henry R. Alderfer, 357 W. Broad street, Telford, who died Sunday in Grand View Hospital where she had been a medical patient two weeks.
Born in Telford, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Gertie (Stoneback) Buchenauer..
She was a licensed practical nurse and was employed by the Lutheran Home at Telford for six years before her retirement in 1970. She was formerly employed by various families in the Souderton - Telford area. Grand View Hospital and the Rockhill Mennonite Home.
Mrs. Alderfer and her husband celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary June 5, 1971. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Ridge Valley.
In addition to her husband she is survived by six children, William A., Telford, Leroy L. , Lansdale, J. Ralph, Souderton, I. Gertrude, wife pf Harold L. Benner, Red Hill, Carol L. Sellersville, and Capt. Elmer L. Alderfer, U.S. Air Force assistant attaché , American Embassy, Moscow. 16 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and two brothers, C. Samuel Buchenauer, Norristown, and Edward S. Buchenauer, Telford.
Funeral services will be held in St. John's Lutheran Church, Ridge Valley on Thursday, at 11 a.m. Interment in Whitemarsh Memorial park, Prospectville. Friends may call at the Sommers Funeral Home, Telford, tonight 7 to 9 p.m.
