Mrs. M. Lillian Anderson Hanson was born in a Methodist parsonage, December 16, 1900 at Waupacca, Wisconsin and grew to womanhood in Chicago, where she received her education. In 1927, at Chicago, she was married to Rev. Hilmer W. Hanson. To this union one child, Lois Loraine was born. Shortly after their marriage, Rev Hanson received an appointment to a church in Spokane, where they resided for a year before coming to Kalispell to serve the congregation of the local Scandinavian Methodist Episcopal Church.

About 18 months ago, Mrs. Hanson’s health failed and since that time she has been bedfast. Death came suddenly last Friday at Galen, Montana, where she had been receiving treatment in the sanitarian since last December. Beside the immediate family, she is survived by three brothers, Royle and Arlo of Minneapolis, and Elmer of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and two sisters, Clara of Sarasota, Florida and Dagne of Chicago. Rose, an older sister, passed away five years ago.
