NOTES: Aug 17, 2011, On our visit we were able to search old books of cemetery burials. We did find record of Nicholas being buried in this location. Staff did probe both graves owned by Nicholas and found nothing. It's believed that the grave next to him was never used and his has deteriorated.
*No stone was found. See two yellow flags center of photo. Nick is buried on left with empty grave owned by Nick on right.
We visited the Colfax Library in search of his parents and reviewed obituary records finding the documents for John & Mary Adey indicating both are buried in Colfax Cemetery. Notes indicate that there may have been stones that are no longer readable but no record of where they are.
*This is my great grant uncle, if you are related feel free to contact me through my link below.
