Guy D. Wiggins, age 92 of Newton, Texas died on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Newton with burial to follow at Ford Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Guy was a native of Temple, Texas and had lived in Newton for several years. He was retired from the City of Fort Worth Sanitation Department. Survivors include his daughter, Jane McClelland of Newton, Texas, his sons, Joseph L. Wiggins of Newton, Texas and Obie G. Wiggins of Tyler, Texas, his sister, Katie Major of Newton, Texas, 22 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Wiggins and 2 sons, David W. Wiggins and Allen Wiggins.
