William B. Jessup was the son of Aaron M. and Matilda Kennington Jessup. He was born in Dodge County and married Florella Melton. He was the first Mayor of Chester, Ga. He has a son Tullie L. and other children not known to me. His wife died in 1925 and he remarried to Leolene Blackshear Guyton on Jun 21, 1928 at Eastman, GA. He moved to Laurens County and died there in 1949.
