Linda Butcher Parcell 62 of Chapmanville, WV was born April 5, 1954 at Williamson, WV a daughter of the late Homer and Dorothy Jacobs Gooslin. She departed this life on Friday, February 24, 2017 at her residence.

Linda was a former dental assistant at the Valley Health System Clinic at Harts, WV and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Butcher, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herbert and Sylvia Ferrell, brother-in-law, Johnny Estep, and her very special aunt, Arlene Clark.

Survivors include, her husband, Joe Parcell, sons, Edward, Chad, and Jeremiah (Megan) Butcher all of Chapmanville, sisters, Dorothy Estep of Wayne, MI, Connie (Max) Clark of Logan, OH, and Brenda (Malcolm) Clay of Greenville, SC, step-sons, Britt (Tabitha) Parcell of Frankfort, WV and Jeremy Parcell of Sylvester, WV, grandsons, Austin and Brees Butcher both of Chapmanville, granddaughter, Zoe Gilliam, and her very special grandchildren; Cade, Chase, and Caitlin Elkins.

The family would like to extend a thank you to anyone and everyone who helped in any way during Linda's illness.

Friends may call from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville.

A private graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV with Rev. John E. Godby, officiating.
