DIED -- Near Pontiac, Livingston county, Ill., on the 9th inst., Mrs. MARTHA FOSTER, consort of John Foster, in the 24th year of her age. Mrs. F. was consistent member of the Methodist church, and has doubtless gone to join her father, who but a year ago took his departure, exhorting her to "be ready to meet him in the clouds of Heaven." Then she was in full health and vigor. But she has gone to "where the wicked cease from troubling and the weary are at rest." An affectionate husband mourns her loss. Many friends to whom she was endeared by her kindness will long remember her. --May.
