A. Francis "Fritz" Horning, 71, returned home to our Lord on April 28, 2005.
A rosary service for Francis will be held 6:30 P.M., Sunday; funeral Mass will be Monday, May 2 at 3:00 P.M., both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 645 N. 119th St. West, Wichita. The Reverend James J. Billinger will officiate. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Wichita.
Francis is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Anne; five children, Jenny, Albert, Chris, Stephanie and Regina; seven brothers and sisters; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials established with St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, and The Lord's Diner. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.

He was born Feb. 15, 1934, at Ransom, the son of Albert John and Louise Schoendaller Horning.
He graduated from Ransom High School, and attended college. He worked for Royal Caribbean Cruse Lines as a reservation specialist, was a personal director for Halstead Hospital and William Newton Memorial Hospital, Winfield. He also worked at Boeing Aircraft Co. as a cost analyst.
On Sept. 12, 1959, he married Shirley Anne Jones at Wichita. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons; three daughters; seven brothers and sisters, Don Horning, Cheney; ten grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Rosary was Sunday and funeral Mass was Monday both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Wichita, with the Rev. James J. Billinger presiding. Downing and Lahey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
