Morton Death
Mrs. Mary Alice Thurman Morton, of this city, died unexpectedly early Thursday morning at the home of friends in Louisville where she was visiting. She was fifty-two years of age.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cad P. Thurman, of this city. She had been an employee of the Kentucky Department of Economic Security here and in Louisville over the past twenty years.
Besides her parents, she is survived by a son, Harold Morton, Jr., of Louisville and one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Morton Hopkins of Murray, Ky.
Funeral services were h eld Saturday afternoon in the chapel at Williams and Miller Funeral Home in this city. Interment was in Red Hill Cemetery here.
