Lionel "Lee" LeClaire, 85, formerly of Cary/Huntley, died in St. Paul, MN on February 9, 2017. Celebration of Life in St. Paul on February 20th. Beloved husband of Patricia nee Newton, for 58 years. Father of Harmony Moon Whitt aka "Mary" (Dale Christianson), Daniel (fiancé Laura Brandenburg), the late David and the late Peter. Grandfather of Jessica, Brandon (Erin), Zachary, Colette (Nick), Rosalind (Adam), Hannah Mae, Michael (fiancé Casey), Simone, and Morgan. Great-grandfather of Silas and Mabel. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. He served his country proudly in the Navy during the Korean War. Dedicated employee of Pure Oil/Unocal for 36 years (1990). Visitation Monday, March 6, 10:00 A.M. until memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect. Ashes to be interred at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association, http://www.alz.org.
