Obituary:
Mrs. Minnie Belle Sessums, 86, of Witter, died December 14, 1979 in Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Born April 26, 1893, in Maddox, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Ramsey and Elizabeth Tucker Fikes. She was a Baptist. Survivors include a son, Raymond R. Sessums of Witter; a daughter, Shirley Sehorn of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four brothers, G. E. Fikes of Tulsa; Marvin Fikes of Seminole, Oklahoma; Christopher Fikes of Ft. Worth, Texas; and John Fikes of Benton; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Burgess of Hot Springs and Mrs. Elsie Jennings of Little Rock; and one grandchild. Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Monday, December 17, in Venus Cemetery with the Rev. Porter Bryant officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
