Friends were shocked this morning to learn of the death of Miss Alice Sommer, daughter of the late Aldo Sommer, which occurred Sunday night at 11:12 o'clock in the family residence, 646 Broadway, after a week's illness, from heart trouble.
Miss Sommer had spent her entire life in this city, and had many friends. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mathilda Sommer; two brothers, Walter and Harry Sommer; and four sisters: Mrs. C. P. Jacquith and Mrs. J. M. Martin of Chicago; Mrs. W. H. Arthur of St. Louis; and Mrs. H. L. Beard of this city.
Funeral services for Miss Alice Sommer will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the residence, 646 Broadway, with burial in Woodland cemetery. Friends invited to attend.
