Abraham Crites, son of Sarah and Streit Crites, met death by rolling a wagon wheel on the road. By some unknown cause he fell and was found by his uncle and cousin a minute or so later and was dead. On examination by the doctor his death was found to be due to the rupture of some blood vessel caused by the fall. The deceased was 14 years 9 months and 22 days old. He leaves a father, mother, four sisters and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss, but their loss is his great gain. He was a bright and faithful boy, ever ready and willing to do his part. His sun has set on earth to rise in heaven, and while it's the will of an all wise Providence to take from us our loved one whose place can ne'er be filled we now in meek submission bow to God's most holy will. We sympathize with the bereaved ones.
