A Celebration of Life for William Kevin Barnett of Kilgore will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore. Kevin went to be with his parents and our Lord on February 24, 2017. He was 50 years old.
Kevin was born on June 1, 1966 in Sherman Texas. He graduated from Leverett’s Chapel HS and received his degree in welding from Kilgore College. Kevin became an accomplished welder and opened his own business. He became one of the few welders in this part of the company to do specialized welding on drill bits and fishing tools.
Kevin served in the US Army. He was stationed at Fort Benning, GA and Scofield Barracks, Hawaii. He enjoyed visiting Belize and bought property there and was in the process of building a house there.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, James and Joann Barnett.
