MRS. ROBERT E. MOORE - Services for Mrs. Mamie Clarke Moore of 315 South Dudley, who died at 6 yesterday morning at her home after a long illness, will be held at 3:30 this afternoon at National Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood. She was 52. Mrs. Moore had been in ill health for four years and had been an invalid for four months. Mrs. Moore was born in Decherd, Tenn., the daughter of the late Rev. W.J. Lindsey, a Methodist minister there. She had lived in Memphis 35 years and had been employed by the American Snuff Co. for 30 years. A member of the Union Avenue Church of Chris, she devoted much of her time to religious activities. She leaves her husband, Robert E. Moore; two sons, Robert E. Tanner of San Antonio, Texas, and Howard Y. Clarke of Memphis; three brothers, W.J. Lindsey and Estill Lindsey of Cordova, Tenn., and Haskell Lindsey of Tullahoma, Tenn., and three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Ashe of Ripley, Tenn., Mrs. Rose Buckner of Manchester, Tenn., and Miss Thursie Lindsey of Chattanooga.
