Aged 80. Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Curtis Tomlinson, near Wayneville. Matilda Underwood had lived for years near Harveysburg at "Orchard Home." She was well-known as a public speaker and author. Her book, "Blue Bells of the Forest" was well-known in Xenia. She was a lifeline member of the Friends Church. Survived by Mrs. Tomlinson, Mrs. Jane Haines of Wilmington, and Joseph Underwood of Harveysburg. J.J.
