Janey Dora Flowers, 71, of Blackfoot, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Bingham Memorial Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

Janey was born on September 18, 1945 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Helen Belnap and Sammy Clay Hurt.

Janey graduated from Blackfoot High School then went on to further her education at a Business College.

Janey had four children; Lana, Candy, Denise, and Johnny Malo.

Janey was admired for her gardening skills. She loved roses, and maintained a pristine yard free of weeds. She loved wind chimes, and enjoyed going fishing and hunting with her daughter Lana. Janey loved her title of the Crazy Cat Lady, as she took care of at least 6 cats at a time. But above all, Janey loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Janey worked for a limousine company in Hawaii, and was able to meet various famous people, along with royal families from all over the world. From this, Janey learned to be immaculately proper--when needed to be. She was extremely intelligent and driven. Janey, while working full-time, earned her Legal Assistant Certification and became an executive assistant at Condies for Gary Black.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen Belnap and Sammy Clay Hurt, her daughter Candy George-Jones,and grandson William Little.
