Carlisle Ramey, 80, of El Dorado passed away, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
He was born June 30, 1936 in Clinton, AR, to the union of John Earnest Ramey and Mary Ina Harmon Ramey.
He was a member of Murmil Baptist Church in El Dorado.
Mr. Ramey was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert Ramey and Milton Ramey, sisters, Viona Beck, Florence Bellinger, Carolyn Hygail and Joy Haggard.
Survivors include his wife of fifty nine years, Betty Ramey, three sons, Johnny Ramey and wife Becky, and Lewis Ramey both of El Dorado, and Thomas Ramey of Clinton, one daughter, Sandra Mooney and husband Arnold of El Dorado, nine grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Bailey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 in the Chapel of the Bailey Funeral Home, with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Plant Cemetery in Clinton AR. Services under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado, AR
