Bessie Ruth Hunkapiller, 74, Passed Away Wednesday 22, 2017, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth.

She was Born September 29, 1942, to Fletcher and Bessie Bridges Shockley.

She was a Christian and Member of Mt. Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church.

She was a Very Humble and Loving Woman.

She Enjoyed Pitching Washers (1st Guinness World Record Holder), Playing Dominoes, Working Sudoku Puzzles, but Most of All she Loved Playing with her Great Granddaughter, Lucy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 24, 2017, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Jones Officiating and Nathan Harrison Delivering the Eulogy.
Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

She is Survived by her Husband of Fifty Six Years, James Hunkapiller; One Daughter, Sandra King; One Sister, Emma Floyd and Husband, Carl; Tree Sisters In Law, Charlene Shockley; Mary Sue Shockley; and Barbara Shockley; Two Grandchildren, Eddie King; and Jessica Lewellen and Husband, Michael; Two Great Grandchildren, Lucy and Harrison Lewellen; and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.

She was Preceded in Death by her Parents; Three Sisters, Nettie Hamblin; Edith Livingston Pounds; and Willa Dean Jackson; and Six Brothers, James, Junior, Robby, Bobby Joe, Sonny and Jimmy Wayne Shockely.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
