Edna Eddie Nostrant, 83, of Baldwinsville passed away Tuesday at Upstate Hospital. She was born and raised in South Texas prior to moving to the Buffalo area, then to Baldwinsville in 1971. Eddie loved to cook and she and a friend ran a catering service in the area for many years. She was a loving person and a caregiver for her family. Eddie was predeceased by a grandson, Nick Halliday. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard S. Nostrant; her children, David R. (Kathy) Halliday, James T. (Amy) Halliday and Claudia DeLand; her grandchildren, Jenni, Teresa, Ricky, Danny, Scott and Sara; great-grandchildren, Connor, Ashton and Gavin; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 1:00pm Saturday at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
