Clarence Bass was born to Monroe and Liller Mae Bass. He was the second of seven children.
He was raised in the Lost Prairie Lake Community and attended Flint Hill and Green Bay School.
Clarence married Mary Louise "Betty" Birdow and four children were born to this union.
He worked for Knox Glass Manufacturing and Lane Texas Water Well Drilling in Houston.
Clarence's hard working hands were laid to rest. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irma Jean Gaston and Mary Jane Bass; brother, Edward Bass and grandson, Curtis Darrell Bass, Jr.
Loving survivors include his wife, Mary Bass; three sons, Thomas (Juandetta), Curtis (Tammy), Michael (Bridgette) Birdow, Percilla (Alphonso; three brothers Charles Bass, William Bass (Glenda)and James Bass (Patti); 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a great host of extended family.
Arrangements by Emanuel Funeral Home. Service will be at Court Drive Church of Christ; interment will be Magnolia Cemetery in Tucker, Texas.
