He worked for Knox Glass Manufacturing and Lane Texas Water Well Drilling in Houston.
Clarence's hard working hands were laid to rest. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irma Jean Gaston and Mary Jane Bass; brother, Edward Bass and grandson, Curtis Darrell Bass, Jr.
Loving survivors include his wife, Mary Bass; three sons, Thomas (Juandetta), Curtis (Tammy), Michael (Bridgette) Birdow, Percilla (Alphonso; three brothers Charles Bass, William Bass (Glenda)and James Bass (Patti); 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a great host of extended family.
Arrangements by Emanuel Funeral Home. Service will be at Court Drive Church of Christ; interment will be Magnolia Cemetery in Tucker, Texas.
